Candy hearts in a jar! Simple, classic, easy.

1) Take a photograph of your candy jar (count the candy).
2) Send it to AMS Customer Service!
3) Have residents post guesses underneath the picture.
4) Choose whoever is closest but not over the amount in the jar!
5) Post a picture of the winner and give a small (and sweet!) reward.

The fun twist is that the residents guess is based only on the Facebook photo rather than seeing the jar in real life!

Our awesome client, Riverwood Heights, posted a status update about their Customer Referral Program and it got a great response!

5 Step Recipe for Facebook Success!

• Create and promote a community contest.
• Do the contest.
• Photograph the contenders.
• Have a ‘like’ contest with the photographs you took.
• Determine the winner (Prizes work well, even small ones).

One of the greatest ways to get more activity on your page is to have a “likes” contest. One of our awesome clients, Sequoia Cable Ranch in San Antonio, Texas did just that! They encouraged residents to post their own New Years resolution and received not only tons of participation but more “likes”.

How did they get more “likes”?

Residents who had already “liked” the page invited new people to “like” the page so that they could then “like” their New Years resolution.

That’s a lot of “likes”!

One of the best ways to get people to interact with your Facebook is to ask a question. It’s human nature to feel the need to respond and it’s a great way to get feedback from your residents!

There are a couple different ways to do this. You can either post a question as a status update or (this is cooler), you can post a poll:
